Stationed in the Cafe et Sucre confectionery corner on the 1st basement level of Isetan Shinjuku's main building, STAR SELECTION is a curated patisserie counter bringing together sweets from esteemed restaurant kitchens. Patrons can browse takeaway baked goods and confections crafted by respected establishments, including the Azabu-Juban Japanese restaurant Azabu Kadowaki and Austrian dining specialist EWIG, all in one stop.

The showcase features creative items that interpret signature courses and culinary sensibilities into sweet form. Azabu Kadowaki takes inspiration from its flagship clay-pot truffle rice to produce a specialty cookie tin, blending the rich aroma of truffle into crumbly rice-flour cheese biscuits. The counter also offers Japanese confections rooted in traditional craftsmanship, such as an an-butter dorayaki filled with Hokkaido azuki red beans, butter, and a touch of salt, alongside the truffle honey served in the restaurant's dessert courses.

Western treats round out the collection, including EWIG's Sachercat—layering chocolate sponge beneath feline-shaped mousse—and financier assortments that allow side-by-side tasting of recipes by celebrated chefs.
